WWE Considering New Sets For RAW And SmackDown With TV Rights Deals

It looks like we may see some new stages for SmackDown and RAW.

The sets for WWE programming are usually very similar, with SmackDown and RAW not having any distinctive stages to separate the brands. This has long been a complaint of wrestling fans, with Premium Live Event stages being criticised when there is no variation on the stage design.

Ringside News now reports that due to the upcoming WWE and UFC merger, as well as the upcoming TV rights negotiations, the stage designs are “under review.”

Ringside News asked around about the idea of WWE building new television sets. We were told that, “with the merger, and tv rights deals, everything like that is under review.”

We will have to wait and see if WWE decide to change up their stage designs in the near future.
