Kaito Kiyomiya On Representing NOAH At NJPW/AJPW/NOAH All Together Again: It’s Both Deeply Emotional And Surprising.

On June 9th, the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan will be the site for the highly anticipated NJPW/AJPW/Pro Wrestling NOAH crossover PPV event. The top stars from all three promotions will participate on the show in inter-promotional matches.

Pro Wrestling NOAH superstar Kaito Kiyomiya, who will be teaming with AJPW’s Kento Miyahara and NJPW’s Hiroshi Tanahashi in the main event, discussed All Together Again in an interview that is now available on the Pro Wrestling NOAH official website.

The last All Together crossover event was 12 years ago that Kiyomiya, who was only 14 at the time, remembers watching on TV. He was asked what it felt like representing Pro Wrestling NOAH on the upcoming June 9th event.

Kaito Kiyomiya responded:

It’s both deeply emotional and surprising. “I’m going to take part in the event which I watched at the time”. It’s a novel feeling, and when I heard that it was going to be held, I was genuinely happy and said “Alright!” However, although I feel happy, Tanahashi (Hiroshi) and Miyahara (Kento) are next to me, so as a Noah wrestler, I think I have to be careful.

Kiyomiya was also asked how he felt about one of his All Together Again tag team partners Hiroshi Tanahashi:

When I meet Tanahashi, I have the impression that he always speaks to be kindly, and he talks to me and people of the generation below me from his own perspective, and I have a tremendous respect for it. I think that someone like that stands at the top, with the impression that he is watching the entire pro wrestling world.

When asked about his other tag team partner, AJPW superstar Kento Miyahara, Kiyomiya answered:

Yes. Before I met him, I had the impression that he was very energetic, but when I actually met him, he was so much more powerful than I had imagined. The volume of his voice when he speaks normally. The energy that he usually emits is amazing, and I think that’s the kind of person he is.

Kiyomiya, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kento Miyahara will face the team of NJPW’s Kazuchika Okada, AJPW’s Yuma Aoyagi and NOAH’s Kenoh in the main event of All Together Again. This will be the first time Kiyomiya will be in the ring with Okada since February 21st at Keiji Mutoh’s Final Show in which Okada defeated Kiyomiya.

Kiyomiya was asked about being in the ring with Okada again to which he responded:

There are things you learn through fighting, and in the singles match, I felt that the size of Kazuchika Okada’s ability and my own. But even so, when I saw this card, my feelings were burning, and as I didn’t hide my frustration at that time (singles defeat), the moment I saw this card I found myself naturally reviving my frustration.

All Together Again can been seen live on NJPW World PPV this Friday June 9th.
