Mark Andrews Talks SUBCULTURE Debut at LIVE IMPACT Wrestling Under Siege Event, Crowd Reaction
IMPACT Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account on May 15th to hype the group SUBCULTURE coming into the company. Their role wasn’t known immediately.
Two days later, on 5/17, IMPACT Wrestling again took to their social media Twitter account, breaking the news that Subculture (Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster) would be challenging ABC for the IMPACT Tag Team Titles at the upcoming LIVE Under Siege event.
For Mark Andrews, it was a return to the company after winning the company British Bootcamp back in 2014, but it was Flash Morgan Webster & Dani Luna’s debut with the company.
Andrews spoke about the match on his My Love Letter to Wrestling podcast.
“Well do you know what’s funny actually? Obviously, the fans in attendance are like regular IMPACT fans and when we first entered, they were very, very quiet to be honest, which made it all the sweeter in the back end when they were coming up crazy for stuff with all the ‘fight forever’ chants, stuff like that, because it’s almost like, it’s nice to know that you flipped the crowd upside down. They must’ve halfway through realized, oh, okay. These guys are good, you know? So that was really, really nice.”

Unfortunately, the group fell short of victory after a complete clinic of a match.
The group stuck around the next day for the Under Siege Fallout TV tapings to take on The Good Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch), & Dani Luna is set to take on Jody Threat on tonight’s episode of IMPACTonAXSTV.
