John Cena Says Make A Wish Entrance At WrestleMania Was WWE’s Idea

John Cena reflects on his WrestleMania 39 entrance.

Before his match with Austin Theory at the show, John Cena made his entrance with a crowd of Make A Wish kids on stage in a moment the children will never forget.

Appearing on The Today Show, Cena revealed that that was WWE’s idea to give the children an extra special moment.

“The hope of fulfilling gratitude. Any good, warm thing that makes you feel great. This year, at WrestleMania, we got to give 15 or 20 Make-A-Wish kids a WrestleMania entrance in front of 80,000 people. Normally, the entrance is something you do by yourself, but WWE had the idea to give the Make-A-Wish kids the moment and the perspective that very few get to see. I was all on board, and it was great,”

Unfortunately, Cena would lose the bout with Theory at WrestleMania, but it seems he still got to have a victory of his own on that night.
