Katsuyori Shibata has his first championship defense ready this June.

Tony Khan announced that Shibata will be defending the Ring of Honor Pure Championship against Alex Coughlin on May 24, 2023. The match will air on the June 1 episode of Ring of Honor on HonorClub.
