WWE Announces Attendance For WrestleMania Saturday

Excitement during WrestleMania 39 Night 1 inside the SoFi Stadium was at an all time high earlier tonight. That being said, WWE has announced the attendance for their biggest event of the year.

This year’s WrestleMania hosts, The Miz and Snoop Dogg, were in the ring to hype up the crowd before the show’s main event. The A-lister announced that the attendance for WrestleMania 39 Night 1 was 80,497.

The numbers announced by WWE are different from the figures documented by WrestleTix. According to the report, WrestleMania was set up for 66,113 seats and there were several hundred tickets available before the show kicked off. That left 66,668 tickets in the hands of fans.

WWE is known to overstate the attendance for their premium live events. The company inflated the figures for WrestleMania 38 as well. Having said that, WrestleMania events have a long history of selling out massive venues and tonight’s event is no different.
