At last night’s RAW McMahon was present in the Gorilla Position throughout the night, which led to speculation among some fans that he may be poised to retake control of the company. His mere presence in Boston was enough to create a buzz and prompt heightened security measures.
According to a report by PW Insider, Vince McMahon was never slated to appear on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. As noted already, he was mostly just there to visit John Cena.

McMahon was in Boston, everyone was told, to visit with John Cena.
The usual production and executive team were handling things no different than usual.
We were also told that Vince was sporting quite the mustache.

It is unclear whether Vince McMahon will be present at WrestleMania 39, and his involvement in the event has not been confirmed. While his influence on creative decisions is currently unknown, it remains to be seen whether his presence will be felt in any significant way.
