AEW Brought Young Fan Doused In Tequila By MJF Backstage After Incident At AEW Revolution

AEW Revolution is in the rearview mirror, and we learned a lot about the company that night. They produced a good pay-per-view without too many matches, and their main event iron man match ended with MJF still on top of the company. One spot during that iron man match drew a very special amount of attention when MJF threw a drink on a young fan in the crowd.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Bryan Alvarez spoke about what happened with this young fan. After all, he was in attendance that night for AEW Revolution. It turns out that kid had more thrown on him than just water.

We heard from multiple sources that it wasn’t water, which apparently Max didn’t know, but apparently it was tequila, and apparently tequila got in the kid’s eyes, and he wasn’t happy about that. So, apparently, what I was told was that fans started giving him their merch. Then Amanda Huber came out, and they’re making him feel good, and then they brought him backstage and gave him a bunch of stuff and gave him tickets to see them in Sacramento.

MJF acted like he blew off Tony Khan’s words about throwing that drink on a young fan in the crowd, but that’s likely not how he really took the information. After all, it’s not a good look at all to throw booze in the faces of young fans in the crowd.

That kid might be a lifelong AEW fan after that situation, but it could have gone far worse. Thankfully, there were a lot of people around to make sure that kid had a good night after MJF’s big mistake.
