The Undertaker Once Told Big Show To Quit Pro Wrestling

The Undertaker is no longer wrestling, but Paul Wight has yet to hang up his boots. Through the years, the two had plenty of interactions, and one specific conversation still sticks with The Big Show to this day.

Paul Wight recently spoke to the Generation Iron Fitness Network where he revealed something The Undertaker told him in 1999. The Big Show was still starting out and wanted affirmation from a seasoned veteran like the Deadman. Little did Big Show expect, but Undertaker didn’t have the best thing to say.

“I went to him one time in ’99 and I did the same thing that every young guy does, ‘Did you see anything maybe I can change or work on? Is there anything I can improve on?’ I just wanted him to pat me on the back and say, ‘No, kid, you’re doing great,’ because that’s what your mentality is. ‘Taker looked at me, he goes, ‘Yeah, I got some advice. I think you should take two weeks off and quit the business,’ and he walked off.”

We’ll have to see what’s next for Paul Wight in the ring. He has not said no to more in-ring action for AEW, but he also seems to be enjoying his roles outside the squared circle.
