Dana White Announces UFC 287 Will Take Place In Miami

The UFC is finally coming back to Miami.

Per UFC President Dana White. UFC 287 will officially take place in Miami, Florida. This marks the first UFC PPV to be held there since UFC 42: Sudden Impact when Matt Hughes retained his UFC Welterweight title against Sean Sherk on April 25, 2003.

Alex Pereira is set to headline the PPV against his rival Israel Adesanya who he defeated at UFC 281 by TKO in the 5th and final round to become the new Middleweight champion.

The co-main event brings Jorge Masvidal home as he looks to bounce out of his losing streak in a clash against Gilbert Burns at Welterweight.

Kevin Holland will be back in action, he faces Santiago Ponzinibbio. Raul Rosas Jr. will fight Christian Rodriguez, Rob Font is set to fight Adrian Yanez, and Joe Pyfer will make his UFC debut against Gerald Meerschaert.
