Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock are both rumored to be appearing at WrestleMania, with reports suggesting Stone Cold could be more likely to compete at the show and Ric Flair feels no different.
Two-time Hall of Famer Ric Flair addressed the rumors of either WWE legend making a WrestleMania appearance on his To Be The Man podcast, believing it doesn’t make sense for either of them should return to the ring. The Nature Boy noted that neither Rock nor Steve needed the money from a major role in WrestleMania.
“[Steve will] only do it if he wants to do it. As far as The Rock goes, obviously he doesn’t need the money, and if he did it, I don’t see him doing a favor, and why would he.”
“I think it’s more likely that Steve [Austin] would come back,”.
Ric Flair
Steve Austin already made a WrestleMania return last year. If he takes up WWE’s offer it would make for two WrestleMania returns in a row in the main event. We will have to wait and see which legend appears on the Road To WrestleMania.
