Yesterday, IMPACT Wrestling took to their social media Twitter account and released a video of Mickie James commenting on her match with Taylor Wilde at Overdrive tomorrow night.
Mickie wrestled and defeated VXT member Chelsea Green last week as part of her “Last Rodeo” career journey. Mickie James has become friends with Taylor Wilde, but they’ve never wrestled with each other one-on-one, and Mickie “respects” Taylor, so she’s giving her a shot to retire Mickie.
A few weeks ago, Mickie teamed up with IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace and Taylor Wilde to take on the team of VXT (Deonna Purrazzo/Chelsea Green) and Gisele Shaw. All 3 wanted so badly to retire Mickie, and Chelsea took it upon herself to make it her mission. Ironically, Mickie hit Chelsea with a MICK-DT in that match to pickup the win.
Will Taylor Wilde be the one to retire Mickie James? We’ll have to tune in to the LIVE Overdrive event tomorrow night to find out!
