Mark Sterling Defends His AEW Record, Citing A Step Up In Competition

Smart Mark Sterling defends his woeful record in AEW.

Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Sterling was asked whether he’s holding back as a wrestler and trying to fool people. He responded by noting that, in AEW, the competition is a step up, and he tries his best when he has to compete.

“Well, hey. AEW, obviously, a step up in competition than the indie circuit. So I’m trying my best, if I’m thrown out there. But I feel like where I am best used is helping my clientele,”
