The former Intercontinental Champion will be backstage at Friday’s SmackDown.
According to a new report from PW Insider, NXT commentator Wade Barrett is set to be at the October 7 episode of WWE SmackDown. The report also states that is it currently unknown what, if any, role Barrett will have on the show.
This comes after reports surfaced that there will be changes to commentary in WWE moving forward. Time will tell in what capacity Barrett will be present at the tapings on Friday.
