Yan Xiaonan wants to fight Rose Namajunas next following win over Mackenzie Dern
Yan Xiaonan is ready to take the next big step in her run to become Strawweight champion in the UFC.
During her appearance on the MMA Hour, Xiaonan revealed that she wants her next opponent to be a former 2-time UFC Strawweight champion in Rose Namajunas who she says everyone recognizes as the best fighter in the division.
The last time Namajunas stepped in the octagon was in a loss for the Strawweight championship at UFC 274 to Carla Esparza for a 2nd time.
Xiaonan broke a 2-fight losing skid when she defeated Dern last Saturday night, she is ranked #6 in the strawweight division and a fight against Namajunas would give her lots of confidence to challenge for the championship if successful.
