AEW president Tony Khan announced the news in a tweet on September 30. RUSH will compete on the September 30 episode of AEW Rampage; he will face John Silver in a singles match.
RUSH made his AEW debut in a taped vignette at AEW Double or Nothing 2022. Since then, he has been paired up with Andrade El Idolo. He made his in-ring debut on the June 29 taping of AEW Rampage, where he competed in the Royal Rampage battle royale. Since his arrival in AEW, RUSH has seemingly kicked Dragon Lee out of La Faccion Ingobernable.
