Malakai Black is sticking around.
Recently, there’s been a lot of talk on the internet about Malakai Black’s status with AEW after he announced he was taking a break. Now, the man himself went on Instagram live early Tuesday night to debunk all the rumors going around. The man himself said he is simply just taking a break and any rumors or contract status talk everyone’s heard is all wrong, he is not released. Malakai went on to say that Tony Khan simply gave him a break and some time off and he will be back in AEW in a few weeks or months. Sean Ross Sapp weighed in after the live stream to say that a source told him that they believed Malakai and Buddy Mathews will be back with AEW soon.
