Cris Cyborg doesn’t see Cat Zingano fight happening, Zingano responds with ‘juice box’ comment

Cris Cyborg and Cat Zingano could be the next headliner for Bellator MMA’s next big card.

After dominating Pam Sorenson at Bellator 282 in June, Zingano said a title shot against Cyborg should be next, but the champion doubts Zingano wants any part of her.

“Cat Zingano been running, been running for a little while,” said Cyborg. “All the time Bellator talk to me, OK next is gonna be Cat Zingano and then change, and then gonna be Cat Zingano and then (Arlene) Blencowe and then no Cat Zingano and then Sinead (Kavanagh). So she always say I want to fight one more fight, one more fight next and then never ready.”

After seeing Cyborg’s latest comments, it’s clear Zingano still has her skepticisms about the current champ, and is keen to fight. However, Cyborg is currently occupied with a boxing match today in Brazil, and her contract status with Bellator remains unclear (via Twitter):

If both sides can agree to a deal, Bellator MMA could have a boiled rivalry headlining a card in Brazil or the states depending on the location.
