Tony Khan Teases Captain Insano For Grand Slam

Captain Insano is going to open a can of whoop-ass!

In 1998, the hit comedy “Water Boy” staring Adam Sandler made its way to the big screen. In the movie, Sandler was a huge wrestling fan, mainly of Captain Insano, a character that was played by Paul Wight, AKA The Big Show. The movie was a massive hit in the late 90’s and of course a huge deal for Paul Wight to transition momentarily from the wrestling ring to the big screen. Well, when Paul Wight signed to AEW, the Captain Insano trademark was secured by AEW and many fans wondered if we’d ever actually see Captain Insano make a cameo again after 24 years. Well, maybe now it’s actually a possibility! Tony Khan randomly took to Twitter Tuesday night and simply tweeted out a gif saying “I’m gonna have to say Captain Insano” which immediately sent fans into speculation of Insano’s official AEW debut.

Will we see Captain Insano on AEW Dynamite Grand Slam? You’ll have to tune into TBS at 8/7c to find out!
