The Young Bucks Are Suspended AF

Well, we’ve got good news and bad news. The bad news is, The Young Bucks are still suspended from the company they helped create. The good news is, they’re able to laugh about it.

At least, that’s what their Twitter bio seems to suggest, as the former AEW Tag Team Champions and 2/3’s of the former(?) AEW Trios Champions took to the social medium to update their bio and, seemingly, poke fun at their current situation.

‘Suspended AF,’ their bio reads which is, like, totally on brand for Nick and Matt Jackson.

For those unaware, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, CM Punk, Ace Steele and others were suspended following AEW’s All Out pay-per-view, due to an alleged backstage altercation/fight/melee/fracas.

Details have been mixed but there were reports of punches being thrown (CM Punk), chairs being thrown (Ace Steele), and arms being bitten (also Ace Steele). It’s unknown what, if anything, the Bucks did in retaliation but most reports seem to suggest that it was, indeed, Punk who “threw the first punch.”

The fight occurred after AEW’s All Out media scrum, in which Punk threw down the verbal gauntlet, saying that the AEW EVP’s (both brothers Jackson, along with Omega) were “children” who “couldn’t manage a Target.”

Naturally The Elite didn’t take kindly to Punk’s takes, so reports suggest that they grabbed the company attorney and stormed Punk’s locker room. Then, the fracas ensued.

Tony Khan was left with very little choice but to suspend all parties involved and very few of them have actually acknowledged the suspension…until today.

Kenny Omega recently showed up in Japan at a video game conference (sporting a bruise that looked eerily like a bite mark on his forearm). CM Punk has yet to say a word. But the Young Bucks have let the world know that they are, indeed, Suspend AF.
