Braun Strowman On Offers From Other Companies Prior To WWE Return: “I Will Never Put On A Pair Of Boots For Anybody Besides WWE”
Braun Strowman once again stands his ground on not wanting to wrestle anywhere but WWE.
Braun returned to WWE to much fanfare recently, with him being put on the SmackDown roster going forward. “The Monster Among Men” was a name released during McMahon’s time as CEO of the company. Strowman would be brought back under Triple H, and he had no intention of signing with anyone else.
Speaking on WWE After The Bell, Strowman was asked if he talked with other companies.
“We [Strowman and his agent] talked to everybody, people reached out about stuff. I kind of play around with the ideas and I always said in interviews, and people thought I was stupid for it, ‘I will never put on a pair of boots for anybody besides WWE’ and I stuck to my word. I never put on another pair of boots. I went out, started my own thing, worked for myself, gave young talent a place to come to work, make a living, and hone their craft in CYN. I stuck my guns. I will never wrestle for anyone other than myself or WWE. Here we are, the monster is home,”Braun Strowman on After The Bell
Strowman interrupted a fatal four-way tag team match to make his return on WWE Raw and then took out Chad Gable and Otis on the subsequent episode of WWE SmackDown.
