Jon Moxley Was Supposed To Be Off For Six Weeks Before AEW All Out Brawl

Jon Moxley was supposed to be off for quite some time before returning to AEW when they needed him.

After AEW All Out’s now infamous post show brawl, AEW would be forced to suspend all involved in the incident with stars like CM Punk and The Elite all currently out with suspensions.

This put Jon Moxley in a place where he would have to cancel his vacation plans as the company needs him. Speaking on The Tyrus and Timpf Podcast, Robert Anthony was asked about Moxley, and he noted that they were supposed to take a fishing trip together during the latter’s planned vacation. However, the melee following AEW All Out required Moxley to go back to work.

“So he’s doing good. Man, he was supposed to be on vacation. Six weeks, we were gonna go fishing, now he’s back to work. He’s not too happy about it but… Seeing him in his element, working, it’s a different beast, the way his mind works. I enjoyed his match at the pay-per-view, but yeah, he’s pissed off, and he’s back at work. He cut a hell of a promo on Wednesday, and we’ll see where it goes. A lot of negatives into positives over there, I feel like,”

Moxley is set to face Sammy Guevara in a semi-final match in the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions on the September 14 episode of AEW Dynamite.
