Vadim Nemkov vs. Corey Anderson Rematch Set to Headline Bellator 288 In November

A rematch between Vadim Nemkov, and Corey Anderson has been set as the headlining bout of Bellator 288 on November 18 at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

Ariel Helwani was the first to report the news of the matchup being in the works on the latest edition of his show The MMA Hour on Monday, with the promotion subsequently officially confirming the booking themselves via a tweet.

The pair’s first meeting took place at Bellator 277 in April and ultimately ended in a no contest after an accidental clash of heads opened a cut above Nemkov’s left eye.

Anderson is on a 3-fight win streak consisting of TKO’s against Melvin Manhoef, Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov and former Bellator Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight champion Ryan Bader.

Nemkov is on a 9-fight winning streak with victories over Philipe Lins, Liam McGeary, Rafael Carvalho, Bader (who Nemkov won the Light Heavyweight championship from) and Phil Davis.
