Major AEW Talents Will Not Be Included In AEW Fight Forever At Launch

Fresh off the back of a GamesCom full of news regarding AEW Fight Forever, it appears a major act of AEW will not feature on the game.

AEW Fight Forever has gone through several stages regarding the development of the game. The game is built on a similar engine to No Mercy. The game would actually win best sports/racing game at GamesCom 2022.

Now, Fightful Select have now confirmed that FTR (Cash Wheele and Dax Harwood) will not be part of the roster when the game initially launches.

Fightful Select was able to confirm that Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler are not slated to be a part of the first version of the AEW Fight Forever game as of this moment. Sources connected to the game that we heard from wouldn’t confirm how far into the game FTR were still included, but Fightful first gained word earlier this summer. It was stated that they at least made it to the “model phase” of the game, however. We’re told that FTR were informed of the call, and weren’t too happy about it, as being involved in video games usually also comes with a significant bonus. We’re told that they were originally set to be included in the game, but by Spring of 2022, had been removed.

The game is slated for release in the first quarter in 2023. Time will tell when FTR will be added to the game but for now it appears that they will not be on the games roster.
