10 European Wrestlers That WWE Should Sign To NXT Europe

Late last week it was announced that NXT UK had been put on hiatus with the plans to launch NXT Europe at some point next year.

To accomplish this WWE will need to bring a new crop of superstars from across Europe to fill up the roster, thankfully for them there are still plenty of incredible European wrestlers available. In this article we look at 10 talents from Europe who I think the WWE should look at signing for NXT Europe.

I have decided to forgo adding any talents from the UK for the this list instead focussing my picks for those who have mainly be competed on on the European main land, I have also chosen not to add any superstars who may have been previously singed to long term contracts for WWE;

With that said here are 10 European Wrestlers that the WWE should sign to NXT Europe;

Tristan Archer

Tristan Archer is the oldest competitor on this list at 36 years old but NXT Europe will need to have some experienced stars on the roster, Archer has also previously competed for NXT UK although this was a very brief run where Archer was used mainly as enhancement talent. Archer has has been competing for almost 15 years and has made appearances all across Europe, he is the current wXw Unified Champion. Archer has been one on of the best runs of his career with incredible matches recently against likes of Axel Tischer, Jonathan Gresham and Jurn Simmons being particular highlights.

Aliss Ink

Aliss Ink from is a relative newcomer to the European scene making a name for herself in the Scandinavian region including Denmark and Sweden as part of the Scandi Graps movement. She has a legitimate background in martial arts including Karate and Jiu Jitsu, she was the first women to ever compete in the Scandi Invitaional in 2021 and she would go on to win the tournament.

Marius Al-Ani

Marius Al-Ani was one of the tops stars who helped steady the ship during the pandemic period for wXw Germany going on an undefeated run that would see him become the wXw unified World Champion for the first time. Al-Ani has also held both the wXw Shotgun titles and wXw tag team championships during his time with wXw, Al-Ani has also held titles many other promotions in Germany and across Europe.

Peter Tihanyi

Despite only competing for 5 years Tihanyi has quickly one of hottest prospects in Europe, and gone to win the biggest championship the HCW (Hungarian Championship Wrestling) Championship in his home country of Hungary. Tihanyi competed in this years wXw 16 Carat Gold tournament putting in stand out performances in the his first round match with Aigle Blanc and in the quarter finals against Jonathan Gresham. Tihanyi is a very charismatic exciting high flyer but also has a very adept at technical matt, he is someone who is able to connect with fans as a super popular babyface.

Carlos Zamora

Carlos Zamora almost became the first Danish born WWE superstar following try outs for NXT UK, he had since gone to achieve more heights whilst continuing to improve his in ring skills. Zamora recently became the Bodyslam! Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, as well as the first Nordic Elite Champion, Zamora also made debut outside of Scandi Graps system recently competing in the UK. Zamora also has an MMA background competing in both Ametur and professional MMA contests in Denmark.

Senza Volto & Aigle Blanc

Another Two For One deal here but NXT Europe will need some tag teams Senzo Volto & Aigle Blanc could fill that role. Senza Volto is the more experienced of the two only by a couple of years though, despite being French the majority of Volto’s career has been in Germany, Volto has won countless championships all across Europe. Blanc is only a few years into his career but has already held the France’s APC Catch Championship on two separate occasions. The two have formed a sucessful tag team in wXw Germany earning an invitation to the wXw World Tag Team Festival later this year.

Jurn Simmons

Its honestly a mystery as to why the powerhouse from Holland was never singed to NXT UK standing over 6ft tall and over 225lbs Simmons has everything the WWE would usually look for in a superstar. Simmons is 3 x wXw Germany unified world champion and 2 x Pro Wrestling Holland Champion, has competed all over Europe working for some of the biggest promotions including PROGRESS, Rev Pro UK and more.

Stephanie Maze

Maze has been competing for just under 4 years but does have legitimate backgrounds in martial arts as a Kickboxer. Stephanie Maze is former 2 x wXw Germany tag team champion alongside best friends and training partner Fast Time Moodo given her inexperience this shows the faith wXw have shown in her abilities. As part of the tag team she has regularly faces off against male opponents and never once looked out of place when doing so, proving herself time and time again against the best in Europe.

Golden Boy Santos

Golden Boy Santos is one of the youngest wrestlers on this list, the Portuguese native came up in his home country before heading to Germany to join the wXw Academy, where he would go on to capture the wXw academy trophy. At 6ft 4inches and looking like like a chiselled marble statue of a Greek God, Santos has every attribute that could make him a top star in the WWE. Santos has only competing as professional wrestler for just over 5 years since graduating from the wXw Academy Santos has become the Lucha Libre Barcelona Absolute Champion.

Ender Kara

The Swedish born Turkish Assassin Ender Kara is fast, like really fast, honestly I doubt their many superstars around the world that can move around the ring as quickly as Ender Kara can. Kara is also extremely athletic high flyer with incredible array of lethal strikes that have seen Kara compete for promotions all across Europe including, Bodyslam! Wrestling, wXw Germany, Italian Wrestling Association, APC Catch and many more.

These are just 10 superstars from Europe that I feel are a must for when the WWE launch, there are still a countless more incredible talents in Europe that could fill up a roster and I may do another 10 in couple weeks. Till then if you looking to find out more about the European Wrestling may I recommend the following promotions; wXw Germany, German Wrestling Federation, Rings Of Europe, Rinsing Sun, Italian Wrestling Association, Hungarian Championship Wrestling, Passion Pro, Bodyslam! Wrestling, Bodyzoi Wrestling and more.
