Top Dolla Comments On Swerve Strickland Not Being A Part Of Hit Row’s SmackDown Return

On the August 12 episode of WWE SmackDown, Hit Row (Top Dolla, B-Fab, & Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis) returned to WWE SmackDown.

Speaking on Jobbing Out, Top Dolla was asked if there was a “little bit of a bummer” that things didn’t work out as originally planned and if there was an “absence” with Swerve not being part of the return.

“Nah, to be honest with you. You have to remember; me, [Ashante], and [B-Fab] have been doing this for over two years. Swerve was added to the crew two weeks before we debuted. When we got released, he told us he wanted to do his own thing, we didn’t tell him he couldn’t be in Hit Row or the HitMakerz, he said he wanted to do his own thing. So, he’s doing his own thing,”

Strickland is currently one half of the AEW tag team champion and is set to defend the titles on tonight’s edition of AEW Rampage along with partner Keith Lee.
