UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman Wants To Be Bigger than The Rock

The UFC Welterweight champion isn’t letting any criticism stop him from going places.

During today’s UFC media scrum, Kamaru Usman was asked if words from opponent Leon Edwards about him going Hollywood have bothered him. The Welterweight champion let it be known it’s not true, but let it be known that he wants to be bigger than the WWE legend turned Hollywood star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Usman has an appearance set to be made for the upcoming Black Panther 2 film, no word yet has been revealed on the role he has. However this could be a start to more roles for the Nigerian Nightmare who is planning big things for himself and those around him.

The Welterweight champion is on a 19-fight win streak, he currently has defended the gold 5 times and plans to make it 6 which would also make him 3 more defenses away from surpassing Welterweight great Georges St-Pierre.

Usman plans to win and move up to 205lbs to fight the winner of the rematch between UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka vs. Glover Teixeira which is scheduled for UFC 282 on December 10th.
