Demolition Ax On Vince McMahon’s Retirement

Vince McMahon is no longer with WWE.

The wrestling world was shocked when Vince McMahon retired and stepped away from WWE. Even being at the helm of multiple controversies, it was still surprising to see McMahon step down. Demolition Ax was also surprised. Ax recently spoke with PWMania to talk about Vince McMahon retiring, mentioning that he’s sure he’ll miss it.

Yes, we worked for some time for Vince. He made a tremendous impact on professional wrestling. I was surprised by his retirement but also I understand that he may wish to step aside and let his family take charge. He was a great business man that developed many positive changes for wrestling. I am sure he will miss it.

Demolition Ax and Smash had a legendary wrestling career under the WWF/E. During the interview, Ax was also quickly asked what match he would recommend fans go back and watch, to which he named a few classic opponents.

I would suggest they look at one of our tag matches against the Hart Foundation or the British Bulldogs. We also had a set of great matches with Strike Force.

Demolition were former Tag Team Champions in WWE, but now Ax has retired and is currently producing a musical.
