Undertaker Comments On WWE Possibly Going TV-14

Is WWE going to make the switch from TV-PG to TV-14?

It’s been a whirlwind of a rumor for the past week that WWE will possibly be switching back to TV-14 like they were in the attitude era. One of the biggest stars of that era was indeed, The Undertaker. During WWE and Mattel’s Comic-Con Panel from Thursday, Ciampa, Queen Zelina, Cody Rhodes and surprise guest, The Undertaker, took the stage to reveal upcoming WWE Action Figures and answer some fan questions. One of the fans asked the panels thoughts on WWE possibly going TV-14 soon and Undertaker took the question.

I think it’s a good move, I really Uh, you know, with our main demographic being 18-34 year old males, uh, done the way the WWE will do it, um, it’ll mean much more than just a random “okay we’re gonna use a cuss word because it’s gonna get a cheap pop.” Eh, okay, whatever, you know, WWE is smart and hopefully you know, when they do, it’s a chance to touch that attitude era, right? Cause, I mean, they attitude era was out of control, but, [crowd cheers] it was, but it was such great, great TV and um, we have such, you know, we are finally starting to get a talent roster now that’s getting seasoned and knows how to use those kind of tools that’s gonna come with PG-14. I’m excited for it, uh, I think it’s gonna take the handcuffs off a lot of people and let them be their real selves. I’m excited, I think it’s gonna be nothing but positive.
