If you wanted The Good Brothers to stick around in IMPACT Wrestling, we have some good news, at least in the immediate future.
The Good Brothers are the current reigning IMPACT Tag Team Champions and are currently on their third reign with the titles. Originally, it was believed that Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson’s deals with the company would be up mid-July, but that’s no longer the case. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, The Good Brothers will stay with IMPACT at least until late summer. The report reads as followed.
The Good Brothers are still heavily figured into the IMPACT Wrestling Tag Title scene, but many expected their deals to be up in mid-July. However, we’re told that has changed. Originally, the contracts of both men were set to expire on July 17, just after this weekend’s tapings in Louisville. We’ve learned from Impact sources that the Gallows and Anderson are with the company “at least until late in the Summer”. The two joined IMPACT after being released by WWE, and said they were given the same deal IMPACT offered when they were impending free agents in 2019. Since joining IMPACT, the two have been heavily pushed and have won the tag team titles twice. We don’t have an indication as to where the Bullet Club duo is likely to head after that period, but it was reiterated to us that a return to IMPACT is possible. We’ve spoken two people from at least two companies who have indicated there’s interest in them, and they’ve worked New Japan Pro Wrestling Dates numerous times over the past year, in addition to AEW. In researching for this story, we learned that the two are committed to NJPW through at least Wrestle Kingdom, as well.

As the reigning champions, it’s possible they stick around even after the summer, but only time will tell. We’ll keep you updated on the status of Gallows and Anderson.
