Road Dogg Was Jealous Of AEW Stars Run In The WWE

Road Dogg was not a fan of this stars run in the company.

For a long time now, we have heard from several WWE legends that have a tendency to lean towards the global juggernaut as they are who the legends are signed to a contract with. One of these names is former producer and pro wrestler Road Dogg, who was one member of the New Age Outlaws when he was an active member of the roster.

While speaking on the Oh…You Didn’t Know podcast, Road Dogg admitted that he was jealous of Chris Jericho’s push in WWE.

“I think he’s [Chris Jericho] done extremely well for himself. Have he and I had our differences? Yeah. Was I jealous of him also when he came into WWE back in the day and I was in active addiction? Yes, because he came in getting a push and beat me twice to do it [James laughed]. But you know, nobody’s remembering anything like that Chris. You son of a… But that’s the kind of stuff back then that bothered me and I think about it today and I’m like, ‘oh my God. What a pathetic existence of a man I am, you know?’”

Jericho is currently building to a blow off one on one match with Eddie Kingston that will happen one week from tomorrow as part of Fyter Fest Part 2.
