Former WWE Writer Says The Rock vs Roman Reigns Doesn’t Need A Title

The Rock vs. Roman Reigns is a dream match, but does it need a title?

Roman Reigns is the current Undisputed WWE Champion and has a match lined up against Brock Lesnar when he’ll defend his titles in a Last Man Standing Match at SummerSlam. Many fans have talked about the possibility of Roman Reigns vs. The Rock, especially at next years WrestleMania in Hollywood. But, will Roman hold the titles that long? While speaking with theCheap Heat Productions podcast, former WWE Magazine writer Brian R. Solomon believes The Rock vs Roman Reigns doesn’t need any title.

We’re thinking The Rock might be on the horizon for WrestleMania but like I’ve said before, they don’t need the title for that match. That match is bigger than the title. You can have Rock vs. Roman, Cody vs. somebody, maybe Brock for the title. The more I think about it, the more I think that might actually be what happens.

It’s undoubtably one of the biggest matches WWE could possibly make, but adding a championship could possibly diminish the match, making it obvious that Roman would walk away the winner. Without a title on the line, it’s any man’s match to win.
