Pat McAfee has signed a multi-year contract extension with the WWE.
WWE announced on Thursday that Pat McAfee had signed a multi-year contract extension with the promotion that would keep McAfee at the WWE commentary desk for the foreseeable future. McAfee has been one of the voices of SmackDown for a couple of years now and is seen as one of the fans favorite commentators.
WrestleVotes took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon, sharing further details on McAfee’s contract extension.
I’m told the Pat McAfee extension was signed a few weeks back, to the thrill of everyone involved. WWE knows exactly what they have in McAfee and were steadfast on making sure they kept him around. Good job on them.

Time will tell if McAfee’s extension will be good for Pat, but for now McAfee will turn his attention to SummerSlam where he will face former teammate Happy Corbin.
