Pat McAfee has signed a contract extension in the WWE and everyone is celebrating.
The SmackDown commentary team of Michael Cole and Pat McAfee has made fans laugh and smile for a while now. The pair have unbridled chemistry and Pat has an energy that Cole would call contagious.
McAfee signed a multi-year contract extension with the WWE and Michael Cole posted a tweet referencing the good news.
After 25 years in “the booth,” working with @PatMcAfeeShow is the highlight of each week. His excitement is contagious (even if he almost kicks me when standing on our table) and has helped revitalize my love for our business! @WWE, our fans, and I are lucky to have him!

Cole has mentioned in the past that McAfee has revitalized his career at the commentary desk since becoming his partner in the booth. Fans have also found Cole infinitely more likeable as he has relaxed due to the fun McAfee has had with Cole at the desk.
