Fans Shocked At Brutal Beatdown From Minoru Suzuki And Asuka’s Singles Match In 2014

Trigger Warning: The footage in this article may be triggering to some due to the man on woman violence.

Asuka is one tough pro wrestler.

Asuka is no stranger to taking dangerous spots in pro wrestling. Just this past weekend and on Monday’s RAW, Asuka was involved in some of the biggest spots in recent memory for women in stipulation matches in the WWE. However, an old clip has resurfaced that has made many fans uncomfortable with the footage.

In 2014, Asuka (then named Kana) hosted a self produced show and booked herself opposite Minoru Suzuki in a mixed tag match. However, this match did not follow normal mixed tag rules in wrestling. Kana not only went up against Suzuki, she demanded that Suzuki not hold back and the result has left many fans questioning why the spot was allowed to happen. Many do not know the story of Kana booking the show herself, but even with that information, the video remains deeply unsettling.

While many fans have been rightfully unsettled, for many it has just confirmed what many already knew. Asuka is a badass.
