Bryan Danielson Return Timetable Remains Uncertain, Currently Projected For Fall Return

It looks like fans will have to wait a little longer for The American Dragon’s return to the ring.

In June, it was announced that Bryan Danielson was suffering with an injury that we are still not clear on what the injury sustained was for the Blackpool Combat Club member. Danielson of course would miss Forbidden Door and Blood And Guts, with Claudio Castagnoli taking Bryan’s spot on both cards.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the timetable for Bryan Danielson’s comeback is uncertain. The hope is that he will make it back by the Fall of this year.

The silver lining is that the ratings this summer are probably not as important as in the fall, winter and spring, when the new distribution contract is being negotiated. Punk should be back by then. Danielson is unknown because if it is a concussion, and with his history, there is no timetable, but one certainly hopes he would be back.

Castagnoli would get the win in both matches replacing Bryan, including defeating Zack Sabre Jr for the first time in his career. Time will tell when Danielson will return to the ring, but hopefully it is soon.
