Conor McGregor Looking to Come Back Before End of 2022, Max Holloway Doesn’t See It Happening

The Notorious one is looking for a comeback in the UFC before the end of the year, however a former Featherweight king doesn’t believe it at all.

Dana White’s comments on the Jim Rome show have now led to rumors of Conor McGregor returning to the octagon at the end of 2022 or early 2023., however there are no plans for a boxing rematch against Floyd Mayweather in mind for the UFC President.

Max Holloway was a guest on today’s MMA Hour show with Ariel Helwani where he spoke on the potential possibility of the Mystic Mac coming back to the octagon.

The first time Holloway fought McGregor was in August of 2013 at UFC Fight Night 26: Sonnen vs. Shogun where McGregor walked away with a decision win over Holloway while also suffering a torn ACL during the fight.

Holloway is scheduled to fight Alexander Volkanovski this weekend at UFC 276 in the main event for the Featherweight championship, The first two times Holloway and Volkanovski fought, it ended with The Great walking away with the strap, Holloway will have one more shot at capturing back the Featherweight championship in the words from the champion.
