Tony Khan continues to show his compassionate side.

When Jon Moxley left AEW last year, he entered rehab for his alcoholism and got clean, returning to the promotion in January this year and has been on the run of his career along with the Blackpool Combat Club and Eddie Kingston. He will face Hiroshi Tanahashi at this weekend’s Forbidden Door event for the interim AEW World Title.

While speaking on The Sessions with Renee Paquette, Moxley revealed Tony Khan’s reaction to hearing Mox needed to enter rehab.

“AEW and Tony (Khan), they were totally cool. He said, ‘If you never came back, that would have been cool.’ They didn’t bug me. When I came back it was just, ‘Well, I guess I should probably come back now.'”
