Kurt Angle Will Not Wrestle Again, Despite Having Double Knee Replacement Surgery

Kurt Angle will not return to the ring despite having successful double knee replacement surgery.

Kurt Angle wrestled his final match for the WWE at WrestleMania 35 and has not wrestled since leaving the promotion. Recently, Angle underwent double knee replacement surgery and despite some set backs, is on the road to recovery from the operation.

While speaking on the Two-Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast, Kurt Angle revealed that he will never be wrestling again after the double knee replacement surgery.

Well, you know, usually you have one at a time because it’s — you’re gonna be destabilized. So with me, the thing is, I wanted to get them out of the way. I just wanted to get them done and move forward with my life and not have to worry about the other down the road. I can walk around. I’m still in a lot of pain, though.

(When asked if he will return to the ring) I have no idea, I don’t. I’m not going to try. No.”

Of course, not many expected Kurt to come back to the ring, but it is positive he is focusing on his quality of life rather than trying to return.
