Court Bauer Reflects On MJF Reconstructing His MLW Deal

MJF has been in the news a lot lately after rumors swirled of him wanting a new AEW contract.

We last saw MJF on AEW Dynamite when he dropped a “pipebomb” like promo on AEW/Tony Khan, ending it off by calling Tony a “F****** Mark”. Now, with everything in the news about MJF, MLW’s owner, Court Bauer, recalls MJF asking to reconstruct his MLW contract when he worked there in the past. Fightful Select had the story:

When asking those in MLW about the contract he’d signed before coming to Major League Wrestling, it was confirmed he was among the first deals that were signed to the company years ago. As the deal progressed, MJF had felt like he outperformed his Major League Wrestling contract and went directly to Court Bauer to make his case and renegotiate. Court Bauer told Fightful that things went well during and after that talk. Bauer says MLW gave MJF the raise and believed his points were valid. The conversation was said to have been very professional and easy, and not a difficult decision to come to.

With MJF’s contract negotiations going smoothly in the past, one can only hope the same for AEW & MJF’s negotiations.
