Jeff Hardy’s Replacement For TripleMania, Ex-WWE Star Teams With Matt Hardy

Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy vs Dragon Lee and Dralistico was originally scheduled for TripleMania in Tijuana. But, after Jeff Hardy’s DUI arrest, Matt was partnerless.

It was revealed earlier in the week that Matt would still compete, but now, he’d have a surprise partner. The partner was revealed to be former WWE superstar, John Morrison, who went by Johnny Hardy for the match. Morrison is known for switching up his name based on where he’s working such as Johnny Impact or Johnny GameChanger, but now, Johnny Hardy has come to light.

Matt and Johnny Hardy did not pick up the win though, as Johnny turned on Matt during the bout and he ended up being pinned by Dragon Lee. After the match, Matt Hardy did get his revenge when he hit Johnny with a twist of fate and then shook hands and showed respect to Dragon Lee and Dralistico to send the fans home happy.

Matt Hardy & John Morrison haven’t face off since 2008, but with this duo breaking down during the match, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them go at it one more time.
