Vince McMahon Expects SmackDown To Be Business As Usual

Something doesn’t seem right about that.

It’s been a rollarcoaster 24 hours in the pro wrestling industry as Vince McMahon has been accused of paying off a woman he had an affair with. John Laurinaitis has also been named as an integral player in the hush money agreement.

On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the situation. Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis both plan to be at SmackDown on Friday night.

“Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis are going to TV Friday, at least as of a couple hours ago, that’s what we had heard. They are basically saying it is business as usual. That is what they are saying, yes. I don’t know how it could be business as usual. Again, like, this is very early in the game. Nobody’s been fired yet.”

As of Thursday, it is unknown what the plans are for SmackDown backstage, but it is doubtful it will be business as usual as Vince hopes it to be. Any further updates on the situation will be posted to Bodyslam.net.
