Athena is All Elite Following Debut at Double or Nothing

Following months of rumors, Athena finally arrived on AEW television during the 2022 Double or Nothing festivities in Las Vegas, Nevada. Following Jade Cargill’s win over Anna Jay and the Baddies confrontation with Kris Statlander, Athena’s presence was felt.

Tony Khan, AEW’s President and CEO, has confirmed over his Twitter that Athena is officially All Elite. Athena joins Wardlow and Stokely Hathaway as talents to get the signature graphic so far during the pay-per-view.

Athena is best known as the former Ember Moon. The 33-year-old competed under the moniker from 2015 through the duration of her WWE tenure in 2021. Athena, who held the NXT Championship for 140 days, was best known for her runs on NXT and Monday Night Raw before her release in November 2021. It seems evident that Athena’s entering a program with TBS Champion Jade Cargill to start her AEW career.

The terms of Athena’s pact with AEW are currently unknown, however, Bodyslam will continue to keep you updated as more contract information becomes available.
