Trent Beretta Has Covid-19, Changes Made To NJPW Capital Collision

Trent Beretta has tested positive for COVID-19 and as such, prior bookings will have to be changed.

Trent Beretta was scheduled to compete in a tag match at the Capital Collision event in Washington, DC. As a result of testing positive, Beretta will now be unable to compete and has been replaced by Rocky Romero, who will team with Kazuchika Okada instead. NJPW released a statement on May 13th regarding the changes:

Thank you for supporting New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Trent Beretta, who was scheduled to team with Kazuchika Okada against Jay White and Hikuleo at Capital Collision, has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be able to compete on the card May 14.

We deeply apologise to fans who were looking forward to seeing Beretta wrestle, and appreciate your understanding.

As a result the following changes have been made to the evening’s card:
