Bret Hart Still Angry Over Goldberg Causing His Retirement

Some pro wrestlers can forgive a botch or two, but when it ends someone’s career, that changes the story entirely.

One such time that this has occurred is when a botched superkick from Goldberg led to the retirement of Bret Hart shortly there after due to concussion related injuries.

Speaking to Lucha Libre Online, Bret revealed he is still angry regarding the incident:

“I think, for me, it’s always been a bit of a sore spot; it always makes me kind of mad that some guy is flying all the way over to Saudi Arabia and making 3 million dollars in a match and the same guy is the guy that kicked me in the head and never thought about me or what he cost me and my family and what he did to me.”

Of course, when an injury occurs of this magnitude it is remembered by many fans. The wrestling world was changed forever once that superkick landed.

Do you think Bret Hart is bitter regarding this subject or is his anger justified?
