Khabib Nurmagomedov Calls for UFC to Book Oliveira-Makhachev Next for vacant Lightweight Championship

Khabib Nurmagomedov had some words to put out following the main event result from UFC 274 tonight where Charles Oliveira submitted Justin Gaethje in the 1st round to prevent a new champion to be crowned. The former Lightweight king went on to petition for the UFC to book Oliveira against Islam Makhachev next for the vacant UFC Lightweight title.

The undefeated former champion went on to say that the bout should happen on October 22nd in Abu Dhabi to determine who should be the newly crowned undisputed Lightweight champion of the UFC. There are few fights to book for Oliveira to take next for the vacant title, from “Iron” Michael Chandler, Makhachev or the “Notorious” Conor McGregor who is also open to the idea of fighting Oliveira for the championship in the near-future.

It’ll be an exciting search for the UFC President to figure out who should fight Oliveira for the vacant UFC Lightweight championship, whether it be any of the men listed above, it will be a fight that fans will be anticipating until that octagon door is closed shut.
