During an interview on “The Pivot” that had Dana White on it, the UFC President discussed a lot of topics on the show, from his beef with Jake Paul and the chances of them coming to the UFC, boxing salaries being “One of the biggest problems with boxing” due to boxers being “overpaid” it was a 52 minute video, but fight fans have been buzzing after images leaked from the interview regarding future fights going down at UFC 276 and UFC 277 in July.

UFC 276 is expected to go down on July 2nd in Las Vegas with the main event reportedly leaked to be a Middleweight Championship defense from Israel Adesanya against Jared Cannonier, Adesanya successfully defended against Robert Whittaker by decision at UFC 271 on the same card and night where Cannonier finished Derek Brunson in the 2nd round to earn him his first title opportunity during International Fight Week.

Khamzat Chimaev is expected to take on the fan favorite Nate Diaz who has been asking for a fight against anyone for months, it’ll be the final fight for Diaz’s UFC contract which he’s also been trying to get out of recently. There is no word on these two fights being confirmed yet, but with Chimaev going on Twitter after the images leaked to tweet this at Diaz, the president of the UFC might’ve accidentally given us a firework show before the 4th of July.

The UFC is currently working on confirming Pedro Munhoz vs Sean O’Malley, sources tell Brett Okomoto from ESPN. O’Malley has been on a 3-fight streak, including wins over Thomas Almeida and Raulian Paiva after suffering his first loss against Marlon Vera, Munhoz has lost back to back fights and will look to defend his #10 spot in the Bantamweight division in what should be a potential classic.

The UFC did however confirm that Robbie Lawler will be back at this event to fight against Bryan Barberena. Lawler’s last fight was a win in a rematch against Nick Diaz at UFC 266 while Barberena defeated Matt Brown by split decision in March of this year. Although the UFC has yet to announce it, the multiple people with knowledge of the booking have been able to confirm it to be true

The UFC has been attempting to book Jon Jones in his first heavyweight bout in the UFC for quite some time, UFC 277 goes down in either Boston, Chicago or Dallas on July 30th with the leaked main event expected to be between Jones and former Heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, no word yet on if it’ll be for the interim title or if it will be to determine who fights Francis Ngannou next, but I will keep you updated as the events unfold in front of our very own eyes.

The UFC looks like it could be booking a Light Heavyweight bout between Magomed Ankalaev and Anthony Smith for this event as well, Smith’s been on a tear lately with 3 finishes in his last 3 fights, his recent win being in the main event of a fight night against Ryan Spann where he won in the first by submission (rear-naked choke) whereas Ankalaev’s 9-fight streak has led to him being ranked #4 in the division, Smith is ranked #5. Once the fight gets a confirmation then I will update and let everyone know.

Any further details about the new fight booking will be broken on Bodyslam.net.
