Sean O’Malley Eyeing Potential Fight With Pedro Munhoz

Sean O’Malley looks like he’s finally aiming to fight a top 135 pound contender in the near future, the bantamweight prospect has received backlash for fighting cans, but may end those whispers if he is to beat Pedro Munhoz as he wants to, Sean mentioned on his Twitch channel that his next potential opponent will be Munhoz who last time out lost to UFC and WEC legend Dominick Cruz, is a mainstay of the 135 top ten as of late.

Last time out for the “Suga Show”, O’Malley fought fringe top 15 contender Raulian Paiva at UFC 269, where he stopped Paiva at the end of round one. Pedro Munhoz is a dangerous bantamweight in his own right with wins over Jimmie Rivera, Brett Johns, Rob Font and Cody Garbrandt to name a few. If O’Malley can pass this hurdle he’ll have earned his place in the bantamweight top ten discussion.

More details about this fight will be posted as it comes in!
