Eddie Kingston Out Of Action After Suffering Fractured Orbital Bone

It looks like Eddie Kingston will be taking some time away from active competition for a few weeks.

AEW President Tony Khan announced that Kingston suffered an injury this past weekend during AEW Dark tapings in Florida. Wrestling Inc reached out to GCW and has confirmed that Kingston will NOT be at “The WRLD on GCW” show this weekend from Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC.

According to F4Wonline, Eddie Kingston suffered a fractured orbital bone, and that he hopes to only be out of action for around three weeks.

Kingston had been called out by GCW star AJ Gray for a potential matchup at The Wrld on GCW, but Kingston revealed in a recent interview that he would have to check with AEW to see if he would be medically cleared for competition, but he would accept the challenge.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything more about Eddie Kingston’s injury status, or news on AJ Gray’s match at Hammerstein now that Kingston is unavailable.
