Walter’s Final NXT UK Match To Air Next Thursday

This past Tuesday Walter made his first appearance on NXT along side his Imperium cohorts Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner against MSK and Matt Riddle. The appearance on NXT comes as a surprise to many who expected him to make his debut for the main roster after making appearances on Smackdown Live during the last UK Tour against Cesaro,

It would seem to prior to leaving for the States Walter taped one final match against NXT UK new comer Nathan Frazer which is due to air next week, as per a video package on the latest NXT UK (06/01/2022) including a promo from Walter in which he stated he has not been impressed by the young star.

Walter first debuted for NXT UK on 2nd February 2019 quickly ascending through the ranks to become the third NXT UK Champion, after defeating Pete Dunne for the Championship at NXT Takeover New York on the 5th of April 2019. Walter would go on to hold the championship for a record 870 days, successfully defending the title on ten occasions, finally being defeated by Ilja Dragunov at NXT Takeover 36.

Nathan Frazer, trained by WWE Seth Rollins, made his debut for NXT UK on the 1st of July after impressing on the US Independent scene under the name Benjamin Carter. Frazer has gone to feature on NXT UK in several big angles taking on some of the best of NXT UK including Jordan Devlin, A-Kid and Noam Dar but this will be his biggest match to date.
